New Physical Therapist Kelli Heyink offers new services for Women’s Health and Parkinson’s at Eaton Rapids Medical Center

Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) welcomes Physical Therapist Kelli Heyink to the Rehabilitation Department.

Kelli has been practicing physical therapy for over 13 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Grand Valley State University and her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan.

ERMC is excited to announce that Kelli will now be able to provide new services in the Rehabilitation Department. She has a background specializing in Parkinson’s disease, women’s health, and vestibular.

“One of the reasons I became interested in treating patients at ERMC was because I knew that I could provide services to this community that have not been previously offered before,” said Kelli.

Kelli will now be able to serve patients with Parkinson’s disease through a specific therapy that focuses on restoring movement and maintaining independence. She will also be able to offer women’s health services such as treating incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre/post partum challenges.

“What I enjoy the most about my job is being able to help patients regain their confidence in their mobility and restore their independence,” said Kelli. “I love being able to assist people with returning to the things they love to do and be able to enjoy life again.”

If you’re interested in these new services or in need of rehabilitation services, please contact our Rehabilitation department at (517) 663-9531 to schedule an appointment.
