Before You Arrive

Before You Arrive
In some cases, you and your physician may have made prior admission arrangements with the hospital, and most of the needed information is already in our files. If you were unable to pre-register, you will be asked to furnish personal and financial information. Please remember to bring your insurance cards and Advance Directive with you. This information is important for our records and will also save you time when you are discharged.

Articles You Will Need
During your stay with us, you may want to have some of your personal items such as a robe, pajamas, slippers, comb, toothbrush, and other personal care items. Any valuable articles should remain at home. If you are admitted with valuables in your possession, please notify the nursing staff. Your items will be stored in the hospital safe and returned upon your discharge.

For safety reasons, personal electrical items, including electric razors, are discouraged.

The Eaton Rapids Medical Center Pharmacy will provide all medications ordered by your physician during your hospital stay, unless special circumstances require the use of medications from home.

ERMC Chapel

Our chapel is open to the public for quiet reflection. The chapel was dedicated in memory of Keith Shelly, long-time Board of Directors member of ERMC and his son-in-law, Curt VanDenBerg.

The chapel is located in the Medical/Surgical wing, across from the Surgical Suite. The room is beautifully furnished and features a stunning stained-glass window crafted by Bob Ingraham, ERMC volunteer.
