Services offered at the ERMC Sleep Center include, but are not limited to:

In-Lab and At-Home Polysomnography
Sleep studies monitor breathing patterns, oxygen levels, heart rate, and sleep stages to help diagnose conditions such as sleep apnea and other sleep-related disorders. Testing may be completed in our sleep laboratory or at home, depending on your provider’s recommendation.

Actigraphy Testing
Actigraphy uses a wearable monitoring device to track sleep and wake patterns over time. This test helps providers evaluate circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia, and other conditions that affect normal sleep schedules.

Multiple Sleep Latency Testing
Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MSLT) measures how quickly a person falls asleep during the day. It is commonly used to evaluate excessive daytime sleepiness and assist in diagnosing conditions such as narcolepsy.

Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing
Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing (MWT) evaluates a person’s ability to remain awake and alert during the day. This testing may be used to assess treatment effectiveness and determine whether patients can safely perform activities such as driving or operating equipment.
