Kelly Darling joins ERMC as Patient Access Manager

Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) welcomes Kelly Darling as the new Patient Access Manager. Darling received her bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and has been in Patient Access since starting her career in healthcare. Before she came to ERMC, she worked at Chelsea Hospital, where she was the supervisor of the lab and admitting departments.

Darling stated that she finds working in healthcare enjoyable because she gets the opportunity to help people every day. “What a great feeling knowing that you a part of something that makes a difference in other’s lives,” said Darling.

ERMC struct Darling’s interest because of the type of work environment the hospital had to offer. “I enjoy working in a smaller facility,” said Darling. “These types of facilities tend to be more personable.”

During her free time, Darling likes to spend time with her 8-year-old daughter, Denalli. Together they enjoy going on bike rides, swimming, and jumping on the trampoline (all things her daughter makes her do with her). Darling also stated a fun fact about her is that she has 13 brothers and 8 sisters. Out of the 22 of them, 19 are adopted and she is the youngest girl.

Darling shared that she is happy to be at ERMC and thanks everyone for being so welcome and positive, which makes it enjoyable to come to work each day.
