Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) welcomes Logan Haney, PA-C, to the Eaton Rapids Medical Center Family Practice.

Logan earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University (MSU) and his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Grand Valley State University.

“Like many of my colleagues, I had a natural curiosity and love of science from a young age,” said Logan. “However, I owe a lot of thanks to my anatomy professor at MSU, Dr. Lindsey Jenny, who agreed to take me on as an anatomy teaching assistant and helped me receive a summer placement in the cadaver lab. My time at MSU deepened my love of science and steered my path toward medicine.”

Logan grew up in Eaton Rapids and attended Eaton Rapids Public Schools for most of his childhood. “Growing up in the area is what interested me in treating patients at ERMC,” said Logan. “I am familiar with the people and the community, as well as the inherent issues we face. I also understand that many people in rural communities have difficulty securing medical care, and I hope to improve that.”

Logan stated that the most rewarding part of practicing medicine is the mutually beneficial partnership that is created between the patient and the provider. He enjoys being able to collaborate with his patients to set goals, work through issues, and be able to improve their quality of life.

During Logan’s free time, he loves spending time with his fiancée Kayla and their pug, Frankie. They both enjoy being on the lake in the summer and visiting Northern Michigan in the fall.

Logan will be accepting new patients gradually over the next year for those who need a new primary care provider. Please call our ERMC Family Practice office at 517.999.4500 to schedule an appointment.
