ERMC welcomes new director of marketing, Amanda Rogers

Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) welcomes Amanda Rogers, director of marketing and fund development. Rogers comes to ERMC with a bachelor’s of arts degree in advertising and public relations, as well as several years of experience in content creation, event development, and fundraising.

“I am a very creative individual,” Rogers said of her interest in the marketing field. “Whether it’s producing content, planning an event, or writing a piece for publication, I am finding a way to use creative and strategic ideas that will help the organization find success. Each day is different, and I enjoy the challenge that comes along with that.”

Rogers also cited ERMC’s emphasis on collaboration as a major draw to this role.

“I believe having a strong community within the nonprofit space is what makes you successful,” she said. “I love being able to work with different people, both within the organization and out in the community, to see what everyone can accomplish together.”

Throughout her undergraduate career Rogers worked as a reporter contributing articles and research to the student-run Grand Valley State University newspaper, the Lanthron. Following graduation she worked in events and sponsorship at Priority Health in Grand Rapids, then specialized in digital marketing in her role with Leigh’s Fashions.

Rogers is a recent transplant to the Eaton Rapids area, a move made to join her partner who works with Ackley, Peters, and Haubert – an Eaton Rapids-based insurance firm. When she’s not at work Rogers runs a small, independent portrait photography business which she thoroughly enjoys.

Rogers looks forward to joining the ERMC team and leading the marketing department with an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
