Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) Family Practice is pleased to welcome Cire Nemeth, DO, as the newest addition to its team of healthcare professionals. Dr. Nemeth joins ERMC as a board-certified internal medicine physician, bringing a strong foundation in general internal medicine and a passion for patient-centered, preventative care.
Dr. Nemeth earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2021. She completed her Transitional Year Residency at McLaren Oakland in 2022, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at McLaren Greater Lansing, where she completed her training this year. Prior to medical school, she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University.
From an early age, Dr. Nemeth was inspired by her grandfather’s encouragement and interest in medicine. “He used to tell me I was smart enough to become a doctor, so I did just that,” said Dr. Nemeth. During her medical training, she developed a strong interest in general internal medicine, especially the ability to help patients stay organized and proactive in their health journey.
Dr. Nemeth was drawn to ERMC by its welcoming environment and close-knit team. “I heard great things from many of my attendings during training about ERMC being a wonderful place to work. When I toured, I loved that everyone knew each other’s names and was so friendly. I imagine the community is the same, and I look forward to helping them.”
As a new provider at ERMC Family Practice, Dr. Nemeth is focused on building strong relationships with her patients and guiding them toward healthier lifestyles. “My goal is to help patients build a preventative care mindset, while supporting them in achieving their personal health goals,” she said. “I truly enjoy building rapport with my patients and being part of their journey to better health.”
Outside of medicine, Dr. Nemeth enjoys spending time with her husband, Marco, and their one-year-old daughter, Adelina. The family also includes their three beloved German Shepherds: Arlo, Otto, and Lilah.
Dr. Nemeth is now accepting new patients (18 years or older) at Eaton Rapids Medical Center Family Practice.
