Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) would like to welcome our new Laboratory Manager, Jennifer Bruski. Jennifer has held several positions within hospitals and labs across the state, including inpatient/outpatient and reference labs.
“I enjoy knowing I made a difference in a patient’s diagnosis/care plan,” said Jennifer. “I feel the most satisfied when I help lab employees “fall in love” with the lab, too. I feel a sense of joy whenever I am talking about the lab, whether it’s explaining why we do a current process or discussions on how we can be more efficient or improve a policy.”
Jennifer was interested in working closer to home in a smaller facility where she felt she could make a difference in patient care. ERMC’s lab department consists of 18 employees ranging from phlebotomists to Medical Laboratory Scientists to Laboratory Information System (IT) employees.
“My goal is to help streamline current processes to achieve the highest quality outcome with the least steps. I am also looking forward to introducing more technology into our department,” said Jennifer.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her 9-year-old son and her husband. She loves playing sports, fishing, traveling, and reading.
