Eaton Rapids Medical Center Family Practice Welcomes Jenna Mulder, FNP-BC, to the Team

Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) Family Practice is excited to introduce Jenna Mulder, a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (FNP-BC), as the newest addition to their team. With a rich background in patient care and a strong commitment to improving health outcomes, Jenna brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the practice.

Jenna’s career in healthcare began as a home health aide, followed by roles as a medical assistant and a registered nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). In 2021, after years of experience and dedication, she returned to school to complete her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Michigan.

“My decision to enter the field of medicine was driven by a deep-rooted desire to make a difference in people’s lives,” said Jenna. “Before pursuing a career in healthcare, I earned a degree in global studies with the hope of working in a field where I could serve my community. However, I quickly realized that my bachelor’s degree wouldn’t allow me to make the direct impact I was seeking. That’s when I turned to patient care, and nursing felt like the perfect path.”

Jenna also developed a strong interest in women’s health, inspired by the health experiences of close female relatives. This passion continues to shape her career and guides the care she provides to her patients every day.

Jenna was drawn to ERMC for its commitment to providing high-quality care to patients, particularly those who may face barriers to healthcare in other settings. “The Rural Health Clinic (RHC) model aligns with my values of ensuring that care is accessible to all, regardless of circumstances,” said Jenna. “I also love that my co-workers share the dedication to offering top-tier care to everyone, no matter their background or situation.”

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jenna’s goal is to provide evidence-based care that focuses on positive patient outcomes. “I am committed to continually improving as a healthcare provider by staying updated with the latest guidelines and best practices in the field,” said Jenna. “My focus on ongoing education ensures that I will always be equipped to offer the highest level of care to my patients.”

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and enjoying the outdoors.
