ERMC welcomes new chief nursing officer Bradley Simons, BSN, RN

Eaton Rapids Medical Center (ERMC) officially welcomed Bradley Simons, BSN, RN as the hospital’s new chief nursing officer (CNO) this week.

Simons joined ERMC nearly three years ago as the emergency and trauma program manager. He brought with him a passion for emergency preparedness and a dedication to excellent patient care. Simons’ focus on constantly improving the patient experience has led to the implementation of several noteworthy initiatives including the addition of SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certified nurses to the hospital’s staff, and the grant-funded installation of “Stop the Bleed” kits throughout the hospital and local school system.

Prior to arriving at ERMC Simons attended Ohio University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is currently a member of several community-focused clinical groups including the State Trauma Advisory Committee and the Tri-County Emergency Medical Control Authority Board of Directors.

“Brad is a perfect fit for this role,” said ERMC’s president and CEO Tim Johnson. “His extensive clinical knowledge along with a genuine passion for this hospital, our patients, and our community make him the ideal CNO for Eaton Rapids Medical Center.”
