As we celebrate the new year, I like to take some time to look back on where we’ve been and look forward to where we want to be. It has been another successful year for ERMC and we have so much to be thankful for from 2016:

Give what you can; take what you need.

The Mitten Tree is back to offer warmth to our neighbors in need! Eaton Rapids Medical Center employees have decorated a tree in the Emergency Department Lobby with warm winter clothes for the community. Please help yourself to any of the items at any time, day or night. If you would like to contribute, please bring in clean, gently used or new mittens, gloves, scarves and hats of all sizes to add to the tree. Boots and coats can even be placed under the tree.

The Auxiliary exists to financially support ERMC as well as to provide committed volunteers who staff our gift shop and plan and organize events such as the Gala and Purse Bingo. Funds raised are given to the hospital for improvements to the facility and for equipment purchases. Most recently, the Auxiliary gave $40,000 toward the Omnicell Medication Dispensing System. Their dedication to working to improve health care for our patients is commendable.
