Family Practice/Redicare & Springport Receptionist
Hours: Casual hours per pay, including evenings
Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a liaison between providers, patients and staff.
  • Performs all aspects of appointments and providers daily scheduled.
  • Develops knowledge of all insurances and co-pays and works with hospital billing department to keep current
  • Works cooperatively with staff and physicians to achieve the highest quality of care for patients.
  • Ensures compliance will all policies, procedures, regulations and requirements of Eaton Rapids Medical Center, The College of American Pathologists, DNV and other regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Assumes responsibility for performance of routine, standardized biological and/or biochemical test procedures on blood, urine, tissues, body fluids and other specimen sources that help physicians in the diagnosis and clinical management of patients.

  • Assists in preparing the Operating Room/Endoscopy procedure room. Assembles appropriate equipment and supplies in preparation for surgery/endoscopy.
