Your Support Makes a Difference
The Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation uses contributions from supporters to purchase new equipment, make building improvements, and support educational programs exclusively at Eaton Rapids Medical Center.
Donor Options
The Foundation makes every effort to assure the wishes of the donor
are met. Three broad categories allow donors to choose how they want
their gift used:
- Unrestricted funds: Donations that can be awarded to any area of need within the hospital.
- Restricted funds: Donations used in areas specified by the donor.
- Endowment funds: Donations where the initial gift is left intact to increase over time and the interest is used for special projects.
How You Can Give
Foundation Club
Donors making an annual gift between $100 - $999 are invited to join
the Foundation Club and are recognized in our newsletter,
Connections, and in the main lobby of the Medical Center.
Tree of Life
The Tree of Life was established to recognize the hospital’s most
generous benefactors. The compassionate individuals united by this
distinction share a profound commitment to Eaton Rapids Medical
Center and the patients and families the hospital serves.
Individuals join the “Tree of Life” by making a one-time gift of at
least $1,000.00 which is recognized by a leaf on the “tree” in the
hospital lobby. Leafs on the tree are bronze ($1,000 - $4,999),
silver ($5,000 - $9,000) and gold ($10,000 or more). Donors are also
recognized in Connections.
Planned Giving
The Foundation works with experts in the financial and legal arenas
to help you and your family with estate planning needs. The
Foundation can help you make gifts that will honor your life’s work,
and are tax-wise now. Through your generosity you can influence the
future of health care in the community and be recognized for it
during your lifetime. Types of planned gifts you may want to
consider include: bequests, property, insurance, charitable
remainder trust and/or cash.
Business Honor Roll
The Foundation invites the local business community to the hospital
throughout the year to discuss health matters and tour the facility
with hospital leaders. This provides business leaders with an
in-depth look at hospital operations and plans to meet the
continuously changing health care needs of the community. Companies
that have made a financial commitment to the Foundation are part of
the Business Honor Roll and are listed in Connections.
Memorial Gifts/Gifts in Honor
Gifts remembering those close to you or in honor of someone or a
special occasion can be made at any time. Envelopes are available at
Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Skinner Funeral Home, and in the lobby of
Eaton Rapids Medical Center.
